About Aker Qserv
Aker Qserv is a leading provider of well intervention, process and pipeline services to the oil and gas industry worldwide. The global network of over 650 people operating from strategic key energy hubs offers an enhanced range of innovative multi-disciplined services.
Founded in 2001 by the Dreelan brothers with the aim of providing quality assured services to the North Sea industry, the company has since then grown steadily both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.
With the acquisition of Weatherford Coil Tubing Business and KCA Deutag’s Wireline Operations in 2006, the breadth of expertise has also continued to grow. Qserv became part of the Aker Solutions family in 2008, taking a central role in the creation of the global engineering and construction services company’s well intervention business.
Aker Qserv believes that there is a market requirement for a specialist service provider that will listen, concentrate and focus on the needs of its clients whilst performing accordingly. It is the duty of the service provider to mitigate the client's risk and exposure wherever possible. Aker Qserv continues to deliver the highest quality service through the provision of competent personnel and state of the art well-maintained equipment.
The aim is to be the preferred partner for the provision of well intervention services worldwide. To achieve this, the core ethos of delivering the quality service for which Qserv is renowned will be integrated with the global reach of Aker Solutions whilst continuing to put the needs of customers at the heart of the business.
