On July 4th 2008, Qserv entered into an agreement with Aker Solutions to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Aker Well Service AS. Day to day management, decision-making and budgets will be controlled by the existing management who are committed to Aker Qserv until at least 2011.
The Aker Solutions infrastructure and support will be utilised, allowing Aker Qserv to reach its full potential as a global multi-disciplined service provider.
