Aker Qserv is dedicated to corporate responsibility and knows that taking personal responsibility for the people and environments it influences is crucial to its future. That is why Aker Qserv jumped at the chance to help alleviate the suffering of sick children in Ghana by pledging to be the main sponsor of a campaign to raise funds needed to send beds to a children’s hospital in the country.
After months of fundraising activities, a total of 18 beds were shipped off on November 12th 2010 as part of a drive by Junior Chamber International Aberdeen (JCI) to get the desperately needed beds to a youth facility in the country’s capital, Accra.

The beds arrive in Ghana

JCI Aberdeen could have the potential
to send further items to the hospital.
