Committed to our local community

Our chosen charity for 2012 is Kidney Dialysis Unit Stonehaven.

At the moment all kidney patients in Stonehaven have to travel 3 times per week to ARI for dialysis. The Renal Doctors and Nurses at ARI along with patients are raising funds to set up a unit within Arduthie Hospital, Stonehaven.

To set up the unit they require to raise £100,000 and they are hoping to reach the target this year. Once the unit is set up the NHS will then provide staff to man the unit.

To help reach this target Aker Qserv have organised various fundraising events throughout the year which all staff and their families can participate in.

These include a 13 mile sponsored walk, our grand raffle, home baking and our word quiz.

Staff can also participate in the Pennies for Promise scheme run by Activpayroll. Each payday the odd pennies due to staff on the salary can be deducted and sent directly to Stonehaven Kidney Dialysis Unit Fund.
