Training centre
Aker Qserv’s training centre offers extensive training in well services (including coiled tubing, pumping, wireline and well intervention), process services and pipeline services. Supporting the training is a detailed competency management system ensuring all Aker Qserv personnel are competent. New and existing employees are provided with ongoing training to ensure that competency at all levels of personnel is maintained.
Aker Qserv’s training centre offers both industry standard and bespoke courses which are tailored to its equipment and the equipment of its clients. Courses are conducted within Aker Qserv’s in-house training centre which boasts three dedicated trainers, a test well and training simulators.
Aker Qserv’s training centre has been certified since 2004 to teach Well Intervention Well Control Courses (IWCF). The centre is also accredited to deliver the Minimum Industry Standards Training (MIST) as approved by OPITO. The award makes Aker Qserv one of only a handful of companies worldwide to be approved to deliver the MIST course.
