Aker Qserv is dedicated to increasing awareness of health and wellbeing within the workplace. The Healthy Working Lives Committee, are continually working hard to encourage and support ideas from all employees.
With this in mind, this page will offer suggestions and planned activities to improve fitness, enjoy a healthier lifestyle, while still having fun, whether individually or as a group.
- Corporate Gym Membership For Banks O' Dee Sports Centre

- Corporate Membership For Portlethen Golf Club
One Tee time per day, Monday to Friday. Bookings have to be made through Steve Falconer, Nic Ballantyne or Gill Whittaker in the HSEQ Dept. A membership card has to be signed out and is available from the HSEQ team, this has to be shown on arrival at the Club, and brought back to the department after use. Weekend Tee times may be available upon request. Golf etiquette must be followed at all times. Please see Portlethen Golf Clubs website for details of rules of membership.
- Golf Lessons
Golf lessons were available from Mid August on a Wednesday and Thursday evening, and ran for 6 weeks. Both classes were run by PGA Golf Professional, Muriel Thomson, from Portlethen Golf Club. 14 personnel took up the offer. - Skiing/Snowboarding Lessons
Skiing and Snowboarding lessons were taken up by 30 personnel earlier this year. We had two classes of skiers and one of snowboarders. The lessons were run by The Snowsports Centre at Garthdee, and were very successful. For more information about lessons, opening times etc, please follow the link below.
