Aker Qserv has signed up to the Healthy Working Lives programme in a bid to increase awareness of health and wellbeing within the workplace. The programme supports employers and employees to develop health promotion and safety themes in the workplace in a practical, logical way that's beneficial to all.
The programme will be led by the HSEQ department, with the support of a committee made up of Aker Qserv employees. The committee will suggest, discuss and implement a mixture of health and wellbeing campaigns to encourage healthy working lives.

Fitnut
Aker Qserv is dedicated to promoting good employee health and helping you to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Therefore we were delighted to invite all employees to participate in a free 20 minute Lifestyle Health Check from Fitnut measuring:
- Blood Pressure
- BMI (weight & height)
- Body Fat %
- Waist/hip measurements
Plus a lifestyle consultation with a fitness advisor.
All personal data collected was confidential and only anonymous summary results are made available to the company.
Appointments were available in the Ashford Meeting room on three dates in February. All dates were successfully booked.
Smoking Cessation
Following on from our success earlier this year, with a number of people stopping smoking, we are running another course starting October/November. Each meeting will last approx. one hour. The course lasts 6 weeks, with advice and support provided by NHS Grampian. Further details to follow.
