Qserv carried out a reverse circulation cleanout on Magnus well B-05. The anticipated fill to cleanout was sand as a previous slickline bailer run had returned a sample. However, during the first coiled tubing run it was evident that the fill was in fact formation rock.

The well was cleaned out to mid perf; to the top of the anticipated liner damage and a wireline strainer was installed to allow well fluids to flow but prevent ingress of formation rocks and sand. The well was successfully returned to production at circa 3,000 BOPD.
