Qserv were approached by Nexen Inc to provide temporary pumping equipment to carry out a produced water re-injection (PWRI) trial on the Scott Platform. Produced water was to be injected into well J06 at a constant flow rate of approximately 15,000 bwpd (10.4bpm). The expected injection pressure was around 345 barg (5000 psi).

Pumping was carried out continuously for 2 months. The main highlight of the operation that we pumped almost continuously a total of 668,698bbls without incurring any NPT related to the equipment.
