Aker Qserv commended for customer first approach

Aker Qserv has been commended for its workplace safety record and customer service by leading independent oil and gas operator Talisman Energy (UK) Limited..

The Aberdeen-based specialist well, process and pipeline services company, part of Aker Solutions, was recognised with a performance award for its work in safety, engineering, cost management and deploying new technology. Aker Qserv has developed a suite of next generation coil tubing equipment allowing intervention into subsea wells from a mono-hulled light well intervention vessel (LWIV), which were previously only accessible from a mobile offshore drilling unit.

Ciaran Dreelan, director of Aker Qserv, said: “We acknowledge the part that everyone has to play in delivering service quality from our office base and offshore teams. This award complements the efforts of the team, and shows them that good performance is recognised by Talisman.

“It is also testament to the long established working relationship we have with Talisman and we look forward to building on this relationship further with them in the future.”

Aker Qserv has been working in partnership with Talisman since 2003 and holds contracts for the provision of stimulation services and coiled tubing services in UK Continental Shelf.
