The Aker Qserv in-situ machining team has an extensive technical knowledge and experience with all types of in-situ machining requirements, equipment and projects. With this knowledge Aker Qserv’s primary objective is to solve your engineering problems safely in a timely manner whilst ensuring a quality service and the most cost effective solution.
Our machining technicians have a proven track record for a wide range of customers within the oil and gas and utility industries.

The services supplied include but are not limited to the following:

Flange Facing
We have a large range of Flange Facing tools both internal and externally mounted, covering up to 45” diameter. This allows Aker Qservs technicians to undertake machining of raised faces, RTJ ring type groves, hubs and a range of heat exchanger bundle fronts , backs and dome ends.

Pipe Cutting and Weld Preparation
Aker Qserv have a wide range of cutting and weld preparation tools covering from 2” to 36”O.D pipework and have experience and capability of 56”O.D pipework. Our Technicians can machine to a full range of preparation standards and can also custom design to satisfy all customer needs.

Milling
Aker Qserv can supply milling solutions for tube bundles, deck/slot cutting, pump bed plates and keyway cutting. This service can be tailored to suit the project requirements.

Drilling / Tapping
Aker Qserv has a range of drilling /boring and tapping machines available covering both standard and heavy duty requirements.
